Recover My Files 6.1

Recover My Files is exactly what its name implies: a software designed to help you restore lost files on your Windows PC. It's very simple to handle, immediately completes scans, and enables you to preview the found files before launching the recovery process.

All you need to do is to select the drive you wish to scan, select the preferred filtering options, and let the program get the job done. A disadvantage is that you cannot configure it to look for certain file formats.

In my testing, the software didn't work that well. It occasionally crashed, whether after launching the utility or when trying to save scan results for later. Still, this doesn't necessarily mean that it's the fault of Recover My Files. It could be my PC's fault as well.

Another thing that bothered me was that I wasn't able to restore any of the found data as the trial version of the software only lets you configure its settings and complete scanning processes.

Personally, I wouldn't pay for a program that doesn't work well. In my opinion, you should first test the trial version of the software and then decide if it's worth buying Recover My Files for your PC.
